SLC-Candle Stick Candy Jar-Thursday July 11th @ 6:30

July is such a busy month so I decided to do a cute but simple craft!  My grandparents always had a jar full of candy that was open to anyone who wanted a little treat. I absolutely loved it growing up so I wanted one in my house!
I thought it would be a fun craft because it is so versatile.  You can always change the ribbon or candy depending on the time of year, holiday, or just to match the colors in your home.  I also think it would be great in a bathroom filled with Q-tips or cotton balls.

(The jar used to be all the way full...that's what happens when you have two boys)

Cost-$10.00
I will have different colors/styles of ribbon for you to choose one from.

Please indicate if you would like to come by leaving a comment with your name included below.
The deadline to sign up and get payment to me is July 4th.
(July 4th is a week before but of course it is a holiday so it would be best to get it to me by the end of June Thanks!)

 Hope you can make it!

I already have August Craft decided and can hardly wait!!

SLC-Growth Boards-Tuesday May 14 @ 6:30

I am so excited about the craft this month! We will be making growth boards! When my husbands parents moved from their house where their kids had grown up, they had to leave behind all the measurements they had marked on the wall.  We decided to go back to the house and ask the new homeowners if we could copy down the measurements.  We then put them on a board that would be able to go with them wherever they ended up!  We have one at our place and our boy looks forward to getting measured to see how much he has grown!

This craft is perfect for a baby shower gift, a gift for grandparents, or for use at your own home for your children or future children (if you are planning on just now starting a growth board you can use past doctor records to mark growth measurements).
Sorry for lack of a better picture.

Cost- $18.00

Year-Round "Home" Blocks - April 25th and May 23rd

I made my first trip to The Wood Connection last weekend and was not disappointed!  They had so many cute wood crafts, I could have bought everything in the store!  One thing I really liked were these "Home" blocks with the interchangable "o".  There are 13 different "o" pieces for each month of the year + a birthday one too!  I thought this would be fun to do together, since it is seasonal with all of the different blocks :)

The month "o" pieces come in a couple of different sets -
since May is just around the corner, we'll start with the summer blocks.
May

June

July

August
These "H" is just over 6" tall.
You'll have a choice between black, brown, or cream for their H, m, and e letters.

Because it would take too many hours to do all of these in one night
(paint the letters and each of the 4 "o" pieces), this craft night will be split into two - We'll first meet on April 25th at 7:00 to paint the flower (for May) and the H, m, e letters.  Then, on May 23rd we'll finish the June, July, and August pieces.  I will be buying these in a set which will cost $25 (including wood, paint, glitter, ribbon, etc).
Full payment will be required before the first craft night.

*if by some chance you already have the letters but want more "o" pieces, the cost for these 4 "o" pieces (inclinding wood, paint, glitter, ribbon, etc) will be $15.

I'd like to get a head count so I can get the wood ordered asap.
If you would like to attend this craft night,
please email craftywives@gmail.com for more information.

Menu Board - February 7th @ 7:00pm

I have been wanting to make a Menu Board for months!

Having an easy way to "meal plan" has so many benefits!
You save money (because you eat out less), you have ingredients you need
(because you planned and bought them ahead of time),
you eat healthier, and you'll have less stress before dinner time!
This is definitely something I could use at our house!

On February 7th at 7:00pm you'll be able to make one of these cute menu boards!

Option 1
checkered/polka dot
light black/cream

Option 2
Floral/Brown/Cream

turquoise blue, mustard yellow, pea green, solid red

All spots are filled!

Space is limited!
If you're interested in coming, text Heather or send an email to
craftywives@gmail.com and I'll get you more information.

This craft will take around 2 hours to complete.
